A photo of the virtual meeting can be found here.

“When Attorney General Becerra served in the House, we partnered together to pass the Affordable Care Act. This year he defended the law at the Supreme Court. In today’s meeting, we talked about how to continue our work and make sure every American has access to quality, affordable health care. We also talked about how this includes access to a vaccine and the need for a strong distribution plan to keep Michigan families healthy and to end this pandemic.

“Additionally, we discussed how to continue expanding community mental health and addiction services across our country as we navigate the COVID-19 crisis. He reaffirmed his commitment to making sure Americans have access to high quality behavioral health care services.

“I have confidence that Attorney General Becerra is ready to work with Republicans and Democrats on tackling the COVID-19 crisis and keeping Michigan families safe and healthy.”
