Drain Confirmed as U.S. District Judge for Eastern District of Michgian

Senators Debbie Stabenow and Carl Levin today welcomed the Senate confirmation of Judge Gershwin Drain to serve as U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District Court of Michigan.
"Judge Drain is a respected jurist who has dedicated his career to our community and to public service," Senator Stabenow said. "I congratulate him and know that the people of Michigan and our country will be well-served by his appointment to our federal courts."
"Judge Drain has demonstrated a career-long dedication to helping the people understand how our legal system works," Senator Levin said. "His knowledge and devotion will serve him well on the bench in the Eastern District Court of Michigan."
