Stabenow Applauds Chrysler Paying Back Loans from Taxpayers

U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow made the following statement on reports that Chrysler would be paying back their loans from the federal government today:
"Not long ago Chrysler, and hundreds of thousands of jobs, were in danger of vanishing. Now Chrysler is returning to profitability, keeping even more people employed than expected and paying back taxpayers six years ahead of schedule. The fact that cars 'imported from Detroit' are making Chrysler successful again is great news for Michigan's economy."
